We Make the Live Music Part Easy

Planning a great event means coordinating a lot of moving pieces. Our goal is to make the live music portion one of the easiest parts of your day.

Dry Creek Station works with event planners, wedding coordinators, wineries, venues, corporate event teams, festival organizers, nonprofits, and private hosts throughout Northern California.

We communicate clearly, arrive prepared, and are happy to coordinate directly with your venue, planner, or production team so everyone knows what to expect before the event begins.

Planning the Performance

Every event is a little different. Before the event, we'll work with you to confirm the details that help everything run smoothly.

• Venue and event schedule
• Performance times and set lengths
• Load-in and load-out times
• Soundcheck timing
• Stage or performance area
• Electrical power availability
• Indoor or outdoor setup
• Guest count and type of event
• Speeches, toasts, and presentations
• Special announcements or introductions
• Background music needs
• Special song requests
Weddings & Private Events
We're happy to talk about favorite songs and musical preferences. If there are a few songs you'd especially like to hear, we'll consider learning them when they're a good fit for the band's instrumentation and vocal ranges.

What We Need From the Venue

Don't worry if you're not sure about the technical details. We can work directly with the venue or production contact to determine what is needed.

Stage / Performance Area
A safe, level performance area is ideal. If the venue does not have a stage, Dry Creek Station has a professional portable stage available for appropriate events.
Load-In Access
Reasonable access for loading and unloading sound, lighting, stage, and performance equipment.
Electrical Power
Adequate electrical power near the performance area is preferred. For locations with limited power, we also have silent portable power stations that may be used depending on the event's requirements.
Outdoor Protection
Outdoor performances require appropriate protection from rain, excessive heat, direct weather exposure, and other conditions that could affect performers or equipment.
Setup & Soundcheck Time
We need enough time before the performance for equipment setup, system testing, and soundcheck.
We'll Coordinate
We're happy to communicate directly with your venue, planner, coordinator, production company, or AV team before the event.
Working with a challenging venue?
No stage, limited power, unusual load-in access, or an outdoor location? Let us know. We can often help develop a practical setup plan with the venue or planner before the event.
